Peanut Sauce

  • brown sugar
    1 pinch
  • coriander (ketoembar)
    1 tsp
  • garlic powder
    2 tsp
  • ketjap manis
    3 tbsp
  • laos
    1/2 tsp
  • lemon or lime juice
    1 tsp
  • onion
    1 small
  • peanut butter
    1 tbsp
  • salt
  • sambal oelek
    2 tsp
  • santen mix
    2 tbsp
  • sirup from perserved ginger
    1 tbsp

    Recipe makes 4dl. Finely mince the onion . Sauté the onion in a saucepan until it starts to colour. Add peanut butter , sambal oelek , garlic powder . Fry while stirring continusly for another minute.

    Add enough boiling water until desired consistancy.

    Add ketjap manis , santen mix , brown sugar , lemon or lime juice , coriander (ketoembar) , laos , sirup from perserved ginger . Add salt to taste.
